Planned Server Maintenance

This January 22nd, Sunday morning at 1am ET (see this in your timezone), we plan to perform some server upgrades that will require us to bring our US1 data center offline for roughly 5 minutes.  Details are on the MailChimp blog.

New Features in v6.7

We recently launched some new (free) features in MailChimp:
  • New option to automatically convert all embedded videos into our email-safe video merge tags (extremely handy for RSS-to-email publishers)
  • Instead of using our segmentation builder, you can now just upload an email list in order to build a quick "static segment" inside MailChimp.
  • Discount on your MailChimp account if you activate our 2-factor security app, Alter Ego (we really, really want to help you make your accounts more secure).
  • New Publicity Settings for your lists (see "Wavelength" below)
Read about the new features on our blog.

Introducing Wavelength

Introducing Wavelength
We just announced a new service called Wavelength. It analyzes you, compares you to all the other 1.2 million MailChimp users, and then recommends publishers who are similar to you (by showing you pretty-pretty screenshots of campaigns). It can be really handy for people who want to find and partner with like-minded publishers to grow their lists, or just as a tool for discovery and ideas. Wavelength details, and a demo video on the blog.

Gentle reminder: we launch new features roughly every 4 weeks. The next round will go live around January 30th. We'll keep you posted.

Love,

— The MailChimp Team
