Most of the time, they're dandy little incremental improvements. This time around, the new features are pretty big: - Tweet Trends: a direct integration with Twitter that gives you new insight into your subscribers. See who they follow, what they're saying about you, and more.
- Drag and drop image manager: Uploading your files is super easy now, plus we've added a nice new search tool
- Aviary image editing: Crop, resize, add filters and more. No need to open Photoshop when you write your newsletters.
- 36 new HTML email templates: For sports, schools, and mobile apps.
- New segmentation options: You can now target subscribers by their default language and by the email client they use.
There's other stuff in v6.9. Here's a video: Wavelength About a month ago, we announced a new service called Wavelength. It uses the massive amounts of email data that we process to find connections between newsletters, and connect publishers who have something in common. It's launching soon, so we think you should read more about it on our blog. In case you missed it Here's a list of some other new features we've recently launched, and forgot to tell you about. - Automatic video conversion: Users of our RSS-to-email feature asked us for a way to automagically convert any embedded videos in their blog posts into email-friendly thumbnails (using our video merge tags). Done. BTW, it also works for standard emails, too.
- Media queries to improve readability: You can add some code to your email templates so that they behave differently when viewed on tiny mobile device screens vs. big desktop monitors. Here's a tutorial.
- If you activate AlterEgo, our 2-factor security app, we'll reduce your MailChimp costs 2%.
